Peppermint Soda – the North West-based creative marketing communications agency – has scooped three awards at this year’s North West Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards.
The awards dinner, which took place on 2 November at The Principal in Manchester, saw the company take home the gold award for Public Sector Campaign and silver awards for Corporate Communications Campaign and Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy.
The Public Sector Campaign gong was awarded to Peppermint Soda for its work with Let’s Adopt, Blackburn with Darwen Council’s in-house adoption unit. The ‘touching’ campaign, entitled Give Us a Voice, was praised for its creativity in boosting awareness of Let’s Adopt and attracting potential adopters from across the region.
Peppermint’s award for Corporate Communications Campaign was down to National Conversation Week – an integrated marketing campaign for home insurance provider Paymentshield. The campaign was hailed for promoting the benefits of speaking to professional advisers, rather than using online aggregator sites, when it comes to purchasing financial products.
Jean-Philippe Glaskie, managing director of Peppermint Soda, said: “We’re over the moon! To have our work recognised both in campaign categories and in the outstanding consultancy category is a testament to the relentless hard work and skill of our team and I couldn’t be more proud.
“With the new year just around the corner and with a number of exciting developments underway at Peppermint HQ, we look forward to building on this success in 2018.”
