The Peppermints were once again out in force at the weekend to support our longstanding client, Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention, at its annual fundraising ball.

Held at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s The Point, the glamourous affair took inspiration from the children’s classic novel, Alice in Wonderland.

The Through the Looking Glass-themed ‘Wonderland ball’ was a tea party to remember, with celebrity guests, a belly-aching comedienne host, cool jazz band entertainment and a scrumptious three-course meal. At the heart of all the fun was the important matter of fundraising and the generous guests did not disappoint, with tens of thousands of pounds raised to support the inspirational charity.

Genesis premiered a specially-created animation on the evening, which cleverly explained the incredible work that the charity undertakes to support women and men affected by breast cancer in Greater Manchester.

Peppermint has worked with Genesis for over ten years, and we’re all thrilled to be part of a cause that helps support people across the world dealing with breast cancer. Saturday’s ball allowed the charity to showcase its crucial work and celebrate its successes over the past 12 months, while raising vital funds to help continue its work in 2015 and beyond.

Genesis aims to achieve a world without breast cancer, where our children and grandchildren can grow up without encountering this horrendous disease. Tickets for next year’s charity ball will be available from next summer. However, donations can be made all year round via the official website. Visit the site for further details and see how you can help support the charity in its mission to make one in ten people affected by breast cancer, none in ten.
