THE PEPPERMINTS ROLL UP FOR CHARITY BALL
Posted By Andy Smith
Once again, the Peppermints happily donned their glad rags this weekend to support our longstanding client Prevent Breast Cancer at its annual fundraising ball.
This year, the charity transformed The Point at Emirates Old Trafford into a vintage circus extravaganza, complete with acrobats, jugglers and even a bearded lady!
‘Le Cirque’ saw us treated to show-stopping performances, as an audience of celebrity guests and supporters enjoyed music from singer Lucy Hope, local punk band Red Corner and DJ Helen Holt. The delicious three-course meal was a certain highlight – especially the theatrical ‘Sundae Funday’ dessert!
And Sophie had a great time on the dance floor…!
Of course, fundraising was the order of the day and, with thousands raised, the night was indeed a storming success. This money, together with the generous donations Prevent Breast Cancer receives all year round, will go towards helping the charity achieve its mission of creating a breast cancer-free future.
Peppermint has worked with Prevent Breast Cancer for 13 years and is proud to support its vital research into the prediction and prevention of breast cancer. With the charity relying solely on donations to complete its groundbreaking work, events like their annual ball – while being a great deal of fun – serve an important and serious purpose.
If you fancy joining in the fun at next year’s ball, do get in touch – we’d love to see you on the dance floor! And to find out more about the charity and how else you can support this incredibly worthwhile cause, head over to the Prevent Breast Cancer website.
