When it comes to job hunting, searching for that perfect role can become a full-time post in itself – phone calls, emails and even the old faithful ‘snail mail’ soon rack up and, before you know it, you’re writing applications in your sleep and telling your granny what your workplace strengths are.

With this in mind, it can be easy to get lost in finding the best facts and figures to sell yourself to prospective employers. However, while that first-class English Language degree and grade eight in piano playing are impressive, and should definitely be given space on your CV, don’t forget to let your personality shine through.

Here at Peppermint, we like to know that our new recruits will fit in with the rest of the team; after all, you want to get on with the people you’re spending five days a week with!

We often invite potential Peppermints into our office for a little taster session – this may be for just a few hours or, in some cases, a full day. Either way, it’s essential that new recruits demonstrate that they can build great client relationships, create rapport with journalists and, most importantly, fit in with our culture.
