It’s great to see Manchester’s cupcake bakers making the most of National Cupcake Week to maximise PR for their businesses using social media and regional press.

Today’s MEN features Sweet Tooth’s pop-up Cupcakery located in the Northern Quarter.  In the UK alone, cupcake sales reached £7.3m in 2009 and the industry has gone from strength to strength in 2010 with Vogue naming ‘owning a cupcakery’ as the entrepreneurial fantasy of our time.

Yet another dedicated ‘week’ that allows businesses to engage PR tactics and boost brand awareness with competitions and specially designed products.  We’re just sorry that we’re too far away to sample these delicious treats… I wonder if they deliver?!
