Last night was a great one for the Peppermints, as we bagged a bevy of awards for our client work at the annual Fresh PR awards.

Two of our campaigns of the past 12 months topped the charts and we came away with four awards – three golds and a bronze.

As always, the awards were a fab night with plenty of laughs – this year mostly from the host, American ventriloquist Mallory Lewis and her woolly lamb puppet, Lamb Chop.  The duo certainly boosted the giggle factor (although the less well-lubricated members of the audience were slightly more perplexed by their appearance!).

The awards were for our work with online fashion e-tailer, SheLikes.com, and regional adoption campaign, Adopt North West. Both campaigns generated a fantastic return on investment for the clients and it’s always an honour to see that recognised by our peers in the industry.

The Minimum Wage Dress – created for SheLikes.com – was the runaway winner of the night for us, bringing home three awards: golds for best use of media relations and best consumer campaign, and a bronze for best low budget campaign. Adopt North West, meanwhile, took home the gold award in the public sector category.

We’re absolutely thrilled to have our work for these two campaigns recognised at the Fresh Awards and, while there may be a few sore heads at Peppermint this morning, there are plenty of smiles too. Next up, it’s the Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide awards – wish us luck!
