There are some big smiles (along with a few sore heads) in the office today.

At last night’s Prolific North Awards, we were delighted to walk away with the ‘Live Event of the Year’ gong, especially given the calibre of the competition. This follows our commendation at The Drum Marketing Awards last week for the same project, performed on behalf of our client, Dr Bessam Farjo.

Last June, we’d orchestrated the UK’s first hair transplant to be broadcast live across the internet, managing all aspects of the event – from its conception and planning, to filming and broadcast. It was a campaign that generated an ROI for our client of £320 for every pound spent.

These latest accolades are particularly special to us because they’re the first we’ve received since our relaunch as Peppermint Soda earlier this month.

The relaunch was designed to reflect the fact that we’ve grown into a full service marketing communications agency. So it’s fitting that #LiveTransplant was an entirely integrated campaign that was delivered by our PR team working hand in glove with our digital team.

As with the project itself, the team integrated perfectly at last night’s festivities… perhaps a little too well, since we managed to be the last ones standing on the dance floor at the end of the evening. Well, we do like to go the extra mile!
