meet the Director

Jean-Philippe Glaskie

Managing director

Jean-Philippe, an economics graduate from University College London, worked as a currency dealer in the City of London, before moving to Manchester in 1991 to join kidswear company, The Dalya Group. He was appointed managing director in 2003.

In 2007, after a management buyout of The Dalya Group, Jean-Philippe brought his commercial acumen to the role of joint managing director at Peppermint PR. Under his guidance, the business quadrupled over the space of three years, helping to attract a host of prestigious clients. Jean-Philippe initiated the diversification of the agency into other activities, namely creative and digital, which would eventually lead to the rebranding of the agency in 2013 as Peppermint Soda, a fully integrated marketing communications agency. A black belt in karate, he is also a governor of North Cestrian Grammar School.

Both Jean-Philippe and Suzy have been featured in Insider Magazine’s 42 under 42 round-up of leading North West business figures.

Suzy has over 20 years’ experience of developing and implementing award-winning, integrated marketing communications across many business-to-business and consumer sectors.

Her work generated one effusive recommendation after another, and gradually evolved into a consultancy that would go on to rival the North West’s largest agencies.

A graduate from University College London in French and Spanish (first class honours), Suzy holds a post-graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Suzy is a Reiki master, co-founder of a groundbreaking children’s charity, the Big Birthday Appeal – and is the green-fingered guardian of the Peppermint Patch allotment!
